Miki and Jared met in Vancouver, Canada after Miki moved from Japan to learn English. Together, they moved to Japan, spending years living and cooking in different cities across the country. After attending the prestigious Yamato School of Ramen together, Miki and Jared toured Japan in search of the best ramen shops, tasting and learning as much as they could from masters of the craft. Miki and Jared return to Canada and opened the first Crafty Ramen shop in Guelph, Ontario, bringing Japanese-inspired ramen techniques to their community. We've expanded our mission: to become the household name for restaurant-quality ramen across the world with our frozen ramen line, while continuing to serve fresh bowls in our restaurant locations.
