Description
Representing 700 watermelon growers, shippers and exporters, the National Watermelon Promotion Board (NWPB) promotes the nutritional, culinary and convenience benefits of watermelon. The NWPB operates with a single objective: to increase demand for watermelon through promotion, research, and education. The Orlando-based non-profit organization was formed in 1989 by watermelon growers and shippers. In Canada, the NWPB promotes the use and benefits of watermelon to foodservice, trade, and consumer audiences.
