This session will highlight the unique on farm production protocols and processes utilized under the Ontario Corn Fed Beef Quality Assurance Program that contribute to producing consistently great tasting beef.

Ontario Corn Fed Beef has grown from it’s local roots to achieve International Recognition as a 6 time recipient of the International Taste Institute’s 3 Star Superior Taste Award winner

Our story starts with, 

Who We Are, Ontario Farming families, many of which have been in operation for centuries who have a love and passion for animals and their land.

What We Do, Caring for our animals and ensuring the sustainability of our land for future generations. We grow nutritious feed crops to feed our animals as well as rotational crops to ensure our soil health is maintained.

How We Do It, All farmers certified under the OCFB program must undergo initial training then an initial audit to achieve certification. Ongoing audits are required to maintain certification under the program.

Why it Matters, We produce consistently great tasting beef while minimizing our environmental footprint. Our family farms support many businesses across various agricultural sectors which supports jobs in local communities and Ontario’s economy.
