CULINARY EDUCATORS FORUM DAY
Sunday, May 24 (10:00 am to 3:00 pm)
Culinary Educators Forum Day is a dedicated gathering designed exclusively for culinary educators, professors, and program leaders who are shaping the next generation of Canadian chefs. This immersive day offers a behind-the-scenes tour of a local culinary college, providing insight into facilities, teaching environments, and emerging approaches to hands-on learning. Over a shared lunch, participants will have the opportunity to connect with peers from across the country, exchange ideas, and build meaningful relationships grounded in a shared commitment to culinary education excellence.
The afternoon will focus on a collaborative brainstorming session exploring the current state of culinary education in Canada—its challenges, opportunities, and future direction. Together, attendees will examine where the Culinary Federation fits within this evolving landscape and how it can better support culinary arts programs, educator members, and students. This forum is designed to be practical, participatory, and forward-looking, offering a valuable opportunity to contribute ideas, influence national priorities, and help shape the future of culinary education in Canada.
