Using humour and history, John Lagimodiere will guide you through 500 years Canadian Indigenous history In the process people will come to understand the Métis story, the Treaties and the impact of the Indian Act on First Nations people. Though some difficult history like residential schools is discussed, the seminar ends on a positive note as we examine the investments, partnerships and trends that are happening in the community as we turn the corner and Indigenous people take their place in Canada and Saskatchewan.
